happy new year!

i managed to get out rory's birthday thank yous and our 'holiday' cards by new years's eve. now i just gotta work on the christmas thank yous...nice weekend project, huh?

back to work today, but it's the only day i have to work this week, so i get 3 more days of sleeping in. and man, it was tought getting up this morning, esp because rory woke up at midnight, got brought into our bed and tossed and turned for a few hours. her sleep schedule is so whacked at this point, we didn't think it would be productive to just let her cry it out.we're done with colds, holidays, and visitors uests for a while...so hopefully we can get back to the old patterns .

apparently we're supposed to have another storm coming in tomorrow night...don't know if it will match up to the christmas day snowfall, but we'll see. we had about an hour+ of sleet/freezing rain last night, and then snow, but it wasn't as slippery as i thought it was going to be. THANK GOD!

okay, back to slogging through stuff here on my desk.
