hey, rory's getting her first molars. three of them are mostly in, the last one is just starting to poke out. i thought she might be teething, but kept looking for the sharp little puppy teeth in the front to pop up. little did i know... hard foods, here we come!

brian and barb have a full day of looking around for stuff for the house and the trip. yesterday, barb and zoe picked out a color for the livingroom walls-not the nuetral color i was hoping for, but a color called english rose, kind of like a raspberry type of red. i wasn't sure if i wanted the living room to be an actual color, but i have to admit, it's growing on me. and brian doesn't seem to object, so at some point we may go for it.

tonight we host steve, lis, alice and anne, for cocktails with brian's mom and bob. and we may try bbq-ing salmon on a bed of lemon slices (thanks for the idea martha). tomorrow, farmer's market, more trip/house errands, and perhaps even some preparation for the trip...like getting ready to pack? that might be a good idea.
