we heard on the radio that johnny cunningham died last week. we had an opportunity to hear him play earlier this year in an intimate setting in montpelier, vt. after the concert, we got to meet and hang out with him at a friend's house nearby. it was a great evening-he was an amazing fiddler and definitely had an infectious personality-the scottish accent only added to his charm.
