so...once a week posting seems like it will be the order of this blog for a while. time online to check e-mail, etc, has moved to the bottom of the list as far as priorities as concerned right about now.

alix, the nursing maniac, has made up her birthweight and then some. yesterday, at the pediatrician's office, she weighed in at 9 lbs, 7 ounces. rah rah, go team go! i have been eating us out of house and home to keep up with the demand for milk, and surprisingly, when i weighed myself at the doctors' office, i was down to only about 7 lbs over my weight BEFORE i was preggers. of course, i'd like to lose a little more than that when it all comes down to it, but that will have to wait for now.

rory, still having a few terrible two moments, but otherwise okay. loves, loves, loves her little sister, which is so damn cute.

mom and i are off to king arthur today so she can spend a gift certificate she got at christmas. i'll just buy a few cookies and sit in the corner and scarf them while i nurse the baby... we're also getting stuff to have when the livingston-fosters come over tomorrow night to share in a leg o' lamb meal. yummy...meat...potatoes...vegetables... and key lime pie for dessert. that ought to make for some good breast milk, right?
