yeah, so still no pictures, i know. i did download them onto the computer this weekend, but hell's bells, there were 136 of them on the camera. when i'm going to find the time to go through them is anybody's guess. be patient. i beg of you.

we celebrated brian's 49th birthday this weekend with dinner at our house with steve and lis and alice. steak, mashers, arthicokes (from jean and carl), salad, and chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. mmmmmm good. AND he gets another birthday dinner with the family in about a week when barbara comes to visit! damn him.

so yesterday, we're going into the house from the car and rory was holding alix's hand while i was carrying the carseat (with alix in it) into the house. i asked her to open the breezeway door and as she let go of alix's hand to open the door she said "save that hand for me."
