about face

after quite a few days of hot, humid weather and quite a few torrential downpours (the weather persons' words, not mine), we are actually having some cooler weather. so cool in fact, the i could have used a sweater this morning. and SURPRISE! it's raining yet again. but it's a nice gentle rain, with out booming and flashing. of course, the ground is already so soaked, i'm not sure where all this water is going to go, but hey, all the plants are still green!
