more about the weather: according to our local guys, the eye on the sky, we are in for a 'heavy precipitation event' this weekend. i.e. we are going to get dumped on with all forms of rain/snow/sleet. so we're going to hole up with some videos, lots of firewood and my backlog of new yorkers and just stay put.
