back to the hot cross bun-rory got sent home from school yesterday with a bit of a fever. spent most of the day sleeping and cuddling with daddy, and then cuddling with mommy when i got home from work. she went to bed around 6:30 pm and slept most of the night through.

this morning, brian and i were debating on whether or not she should go to school today. her forehead was slightly warm, but we didn't try to take her temperature because she has a cow whenever we do (not to mention the fact that she won't take anything for her fever). so anyway, we decided to put off the temperature taking until later, and then she went all sybil on us-happily eating raisins in milk for breakfast, then all of a sudden bursting into tears and spitting them out in her bowl. singing a song about walking down the hall (not sure where that came from), and then when we ask her soemthing, she starts crying.

so she stayed home with daddy who is being a total saint about all this sick toddler caretaking, even when he's just trying to get over some bug himself. i think i'll get him some licorice today when i go grocery shopping.
