so, we've been having this wonderful weather that has melted almost all the snow away, raised the rivers/brooks/streams so they are now running bank to bank with cold fast water, and things are just starting to show a little green. and then todays weather forecast: flood warning (kind of expected that with the melting snow and rain we've been getting) as well as a winter storm warning for 6 to 10 inches of snow tonight. sheesh! as everyone has been telling us about new england weather, the saying goes: if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes.

we got to meet alice mei-li garner yesterday. she's cute and BIG. at 9 months, she already feels like she out weighs rory , and will be giving rory a run for her money in the giant melon sweepstakes. both she and her parents are doing very weel, glad to be home and trying to adjust from a 24+ hour travel day, as well as jetlag.
