a few brief notes...

it's 55 outside right now, and tomorrow is supposed to be high 70s, then we're back to some cooler days for a while. but i get to run in shorts and a tee shirt tomorrow instead of multiple layers for the first in moons.

we filed our tax returns electronically this year. we make so little money, that filing federal taxes online through h & r block was free. and get this: we filed them on saturday april 5th, which means the irs and the state of vermont go them on monday the 7th. we got our (small) refund from the state of vermont on friday, the check was dated the 8th. how's that for service? now we're just waiting for our federal refund, and our property tax refund. when they arrive, we're going to buy new glasses!!! hooray!

think good healing thoughts for grandpa frank-he broke his hip last week and had partial (ball only) hip replacement surgery thursday evening...so far, so good.
