belated weekend update:

celebrated brian's birthday friday night with anne, lis, steve and alice, and then again with mike,laurie, ryan and zoe. so brian got 2 birthday dinners. lucky guy.

sunday, rory and i drove up to a sugar house near montpelier to see aunt bev who has been traveling with her frined louise in their RV for a few months. i haven't see her in about 6 months, and even longer before that, so it was really great to see her one-on-one, and to have her see rory. rory LOVED her, of course. when joanna and i were kids, we used to call her auntie weirdo because she was so silly and fun. and she still is.

other than that, not too much going on. the high today is supposed to be near 50, how's that for the weathermen trying not to scare us by saying 'high today will be in the upper 40s'. they're just playing with our minds by saying 'near 50'. and, as posted previously, higher elevations could get up to 2 inches of snow today and tonight. YIKES!

we're anxiously awaiting the recall in ca-i'm getting a little sick of the coverage, and we're not even in CA anymore. it must be TONS worse in the golden state. we're also dissappointed to hear that, in the polls, the recall seems to be winning and so is arnold. i mean, polls can be skewed so you never really know, but holy crap. who would have thought?
