i forgot to mention yesterday that we are now sleeping on our spanking new king sized mattress. it's HUGE, tiny elvis (sorry-inside joke). i feel like brian is miles away. but there's still lots of room when The Button comes into bed with us in the wee hours.

the first night we were in it, we just had it on the floor and rory came into bed with us early that night (around 2 am maybe?). so anyway, brian decides to put her on the outside of him instead of inbetween us to test out the king sized real estate. a few hours later i hear some rustling on the floor and i poke brian and ask him where The Button is. he wakes up and looks next to him, she's not there. she's rolled off the mattress onto the floor and is curled up fast asleep abotu 3 feet away in a corner by the bedroom door. we don't think she even woke up when brian got her and put her back into bed with us.

we have new flannel sheets coming from eddie bauer, hopefully at the end of this week! hooray!
